Samsung has the first-mover advantage of futuristic foldable smartphones. The first foldable phone was Samsung Galaxy Fold in the year 2019 by a South Korean company. Two years, the Samsung Galaxy fold has been evolved, and the latest generation phone is Samsung Z Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Galaxy Fold 3 was launched in August 2021 globally. It has two variants of 256GB and 512GB with 12GB RAM inherited. It is priced at 1,49,999INR and 1,59,999INR respectively.

It’s been weeks since I have been using this phone now and Personally recommend the color green color for girls. It looks chic. If you are a minimalist then go for the black color variant.

After Fold2, Samsung has made necessary improvements in Fold 3. The fold and weight are balanced and have added ease of use throughout the day.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Design:

It is a classy foldable phone with a premium finish. It looks similar to the previous generation Samsung Fold 2 phone but with advanced features. It has two folds- the bigger one is 7.4inches and the smaller one is 6.2inches.

The cover panel has a triple rear camera 12MP wide, 12MP telephoto, and 12MP Ultrawide angle lens. It has a 4MP selfie shooter while the cover display includes a 10MP lens.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has a fingerprint sensor and a power key on the top. The volume rocker sits above the fingerprint sensor is. These are placed sensibly for better reach. It looks premium and offers a sleek sharp design. With so many features it is good to call it power-packed and doesn’t feel cluttered. The folding of the phone is extremely smooth. It offers sturdy and you do not have to fear any damage while opening and closing phones.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Display:

The display is the best feature of that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. It has two screens- the primary one and the top one. The outer screen is much more than just checking notifications. You can play games, watch videos, have social media access, messages, and much more.

The experience is huge with the primary screen. The primary display is superb, and surely you will know once you scroll through. Multitasking is smooth on the phone and easy too.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Camera:

The camera could have been better. The one spending 1,50,000 INR for a phone desires a great camera. It offers a 12MP wide, 12MP ultrawide, and 12MP telephoto camera. It has a 4MP sensor main display and a 10MP outer display shooter.

You can use cameras while folding or unfolding. Clicking pics is way easier and clicks crisp images. For selfies, go for a 10MP on-cover display. You will enjoy the details.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 clicks decent photos a day. Sometimes it misses out on colors and details. Portrait mode and ultrawide photos are impressive overall. All-in it is a good camera smartphone but could have been better in this aspect. When compared to Ultra S21 we feel the camera bit inferior.

Now, let us talk about the selfie or front camera. It captures nice images but misses portrait mode.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Performance:

The performance of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is fantastic with no lags. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage capacity. It makes a great phone for gaming and movies time.

I have used it straight for 3 weeks and didn’t experience any drawbacks while emailing, clicking pics, social media usage, and many more. Despite multiple apps running simultaneously it does not heat up or slow down.

I tried playing games on the Z Fold 3 to know how it responded. As expected it handled HD games well. It did not shutter while playing PUBG in HD mode. Overall, it is what you desire.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Battery:

Battery performance could have been improved. For daily regular tasks, the battery lasted for 14-15 hours. With gaming and extensive usage of the phone, it lasted for 14 hours which is not that great for such an expensive phone. It should at least go for a day.

It takes time to charge as well. It supports 25W fast charging but charges at a normal speed.

The Final Words:

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is a premium finish corporate phone. When you want something unique and exclusive you can go for a foldable phone that is going to stand out in the crowd.

It is the best amongst the foldable phones on the market to date. It offers a nicely built, design and camera. The display is the best feature that catches an eye instantly. We felt the camera and battery could have been better.

Overall, it is not wrong to say that it is the best foldable phone in the Indian market, and the one who is thinking of splurge on such a rich-looking phone is good to have.
